All Skin and Hair Types
Q. What kind of special schooling do Electrologist receive?
A. I have been trained to evaluate a clients needs along with learning and operating Electrology equipment. Florida is one of the states that require licensing; I have been licensed by the state of Florida through the board of Medicine and the Department of Health. I have obtained the credential of Certified Medical Electrologist, an advanced certification offered by the State of Florida that enables the operation of Laser and to perform Laser Hair Removal. I am not practicing Laser Hair Removal at this time.
Q. Who is a candidate for Electrolysis?
A. A review must be made of your medical history, your skin and your hair. Everyone will not be a candidates for Laser and may be able to get Electrolysis only.
Q. How many treatments will it take to see results?
A. Everyone is different and every body part is different. Some people see results after the first visit. There are many variables to consider. Most often it takes many sessions because we need to treat hair when it is in one of four stages. Until we actually remove the hair we will not know if it is in the best stage for killing the root. Laser hair removal penetrates deep and treats unseen hair therefore it can eliminate all hair in the area at one time. This removal though does not PERMANETLY TREAT THE HAIR, ONLY A SMALL PORTION will be permanently removed with similar results that Electrolysis offer.
